Singapore is the first country in the world to impose a complete ban on the sale of all forms of Tobacco. Singapore banned all tobacco-related advertisements in March 1971. In July 1986, the Singapore government also banned parallel advertisement which affected major brands as well. Under the strict regulations, companies could not afford it for long.
