Under the Indus Water Treaty of 1960 Pakistan has the right to use exclusively the water of Chenab, Jhelum and Indus. Indus Water treaty was signed between India and Pakistan in 1960. This Indus water treaty was supervised by World Bank.
The Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) was signed in Karachi on 19 September 1960 by Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Pakistani President Ayub Khan. Read more about Indus water treaty here.
