Kyzylkum Desert is present in Uzbekistan. The Kyzylkum Desert is ranked as the fifteenth biggest desert in the world. The term itself means “Red Sand” in Turkic languages. The desert is located in Central Asia, lying between two rivers, the Amu Darya and the Syr Darya. This region of the earth was known historically as Transoxania. Nowadays, the region is divided among Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
