Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) remained one of the biggest security challenges for Pakistan during the last six months. Several attacks in districts like Bajaur and North Waziristan were linked to the group. These incidents resulted in the martyrdom of security personnel and civilians, and once again brought the issue of militancy into national focus.
The rise in attacks also increased tensions along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border. The government responded with security operations and diplomatic engagement to address cross-border concerns. For competitive exams such as CSS, PMS, FPSC, and PPSC, questions related to internal security, counter-terrorism efforts, and TTP activities are highly important and should be prepared carefully.
